subject to the general conditions of operation, which the patient's owner or keeper expressly accepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name of care facility:<br\/>Our care facility is classified as a Veterinary Clinic, and has the Consultation, Imaging, Hospitalization\/Intensive Care, Surgery, on-call service modules in accordance with the decree of March 13, 2015 published on March 25, 2015 relating to the naming of professional veterinary practice homes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opening hours and public reception conditions:<br\/>The AGORAVET veterinary medico-surgical referral center is open to the public from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Saturday from 8am to 3pm. Consultations are by appointment only, all day long. Customers and their pets are referred to the AGORAVET veterinary clinic on the recommendation of their veterinarian. All hospital wards are duly<br\/>ventilated, air-conditioned and heated, with additional<br\/>warming equipment (heat mats, hot water bottles, incubators) available if required,<br\/>in particular for resuscitating hypothermic animals. If necessary,<br\/>fluids or medication can be administered via<br\/>infusion pumps and\/or syringe pumps.<br\/>The cattery is equipped with specific cages that meet the<br\/>welfare criteria for this species in hospital.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NAC hospitalization rooms are equipped with individually heated and lit<br\/>cages. Animals requiring intensive care are kept in a<br\/>room under the supervision of vets and assistants. Numerous pain management techniques are used at<br\/>la clinique des Halles - r\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9-: therapeutic laser, nerve blocks, CRI,<br\/>patch ...<br\/>ANESTHESIA:<br\/>A veterinary auxiliary is systematically present and dedicated to<br\/>monitoring anesthesia.<br\/>A pre-anesthetic blood test may be carried out with the agreement of the<br\/>owner when the animal is admitted.<br\/>The clinic is equipped with 5 mobile gas anaesthesia stations, 4<br\/>operating with Isoflurane, 1 with Sevoflurane. 2 of these are equipped<br\/>with assisted breathing systems. 5 other fixed anaesthesia stations are<br\/>also present: 4 operating with Isoflurane, 1 with Sevoflurane.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NAC anaesthetics are systematically performed in the form of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>gas. Where possible (due to the size of the animals), endo<br\/>tracheal intubation and respiratory assistance are provided. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anesthetized animals are monitored: capnography,<br\/>pulse oximetry, electrocadiography, core temperature measurement,<br\/>blood pressure measurement, respiratory rate.<br\/>VETERINARY PHARMACY:<br\/>Bedside dispensing. - Prescription-only dispensing to<br\/>our customers. Articles L5143-2 and 6 of the French Public Health Code authorize<br\/>veterinarians to dispense medicines. They may only dispense<br\/>medicines that they themselves have prescribed, or that another veterinary surgeon practising<br\/>in the same healthcare establishment has prescribed. They are not allowed to run<br\/>an \"open pharmacy\", i.e. to dispense medicines prescribed by<br\/>any veterinary surgeon.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alternatively, you can take the prescription from your vet to<br\/>a pharmacy to have<br\/>dispensed. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NUTRITION:<br\/>The clinic has specific foods available for dogs, cats<br\/>and NACs: - Dietetic foods. - Physiological foods. -<br\/>rehydration and convalescence foods. These foods are used as part of<br\/>the care of hospitalized animals. Owners are authorized to bring<br\/>the usual foodstuffs for hospitalized animals in the absence of medical contraindication<br\/>.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MONITORING HOSPITALIZED ANIMALS :<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Hospitalized animals are monitored according to their clinical condition<br\/>. All material and human resources are available for<br\/>surveillance. We do not provide a permanent presence for<br\/>animals 24 hours a day. However, we are at the animal's bedside as often<br\/>as its condition requires. Visits to hospitalized animals are possible<br\/>with the agreement of the veterinarian in charge and depending on the animal's condition. These<br\/>visits take place only during clinic opening hours and<br\/>by appointment.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PERMANENT CARE:<br\/>The Clinique V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire guarantees permanent care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for<br\/>animals hospitalized on its premises by a qualified veterinarian.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CONTINUITY OF CARE:<br\/>The clinic guarantees continuity of care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year within the<br\/>framework of its referred activity. Emergencies are dealt with 24\/7, 365 days a year by<br\/>setting up on-call arrangements with referring veterinarians. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SPECIES TREATED:<br\/>The species usually or occasionally treated at our<br\/>facility are as follows: pets: dogs, cats,<br\/>new pets.<br\/>Wildlife: small mammals, reptiles and wild birds<br\/>in collaboration with the LPO care center<br\/>Zoo animals: the veterinary medical and surgical referral center<br\/>AGORAVET - works in collaboration with local zoos for<br\/>specific care of some of their animals, and may be called upon to treat:<br\/>felines, primates in addition to the species listed above.<br\/>The veterinary care establishment does not have the equipment or the resources to treat all species.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>skills needed to care for species not listed above<br\/>, in particular horses and livestock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"10\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>THERAPEUTIC RISK, ANESTHESIA RISK,<br\/>CONTENTION RISK, ECLAIR CONSENT OF THE CUSTOMER:<br\/>Any drug treatment, anesthesia or surgical procedure<br\/>involves a potential therapeutic risk, which our team will inform<br\/>. This information will be given verbally as part of current practice<br\/>or in writing in the form of a care contract at the request of the patient. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>either party. The aggressive behavior of a patient<br\/>presents a danger to the nursing staff and other people present,<br\/>sometimes necessitating the use of means of restraint presenting a potential risk<br\/>for the patient. In such cases, our team will inform the client of the<br\/>need to use special restraints. The patient's examination will only be<br\/>carried out if the customer accepts the restraint. The customer declares<br\/>that he\/she is aware of and accepts the therapeutic risks and, if applicable    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>if necessary, the special conditions for examinations under restraint set out above<br\/>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"11\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CARE CONTRACT, PARTICULAR CONDITIONS:<br\/>Any medical or surgical procedure subject to special conditions<br\/>not specified or mentioned in the present document<br\/>will give rise to a care contract. This will provide<br\/>customers with the information they need to obtain informed consent.<br\/>A \"standard\" care contract is available in Appendix I. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DEATH OF ANIMAL:<br\/>In the event of the patient's death, we can, if legislation permits and if the<br\/>customer so wishes, return the body for burial. In other cases, we can<br\/>through the intermediary of INCINERIS, 5<br\/>chemin de Boussi\u00e8res, BP25, 59157 Beauvois en Cambressis, ensure the cremation of the<br\/>body. All cremation requests must be signed by the Customer. The costs<br\/>of cremation are borne by the Customer.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ADMISSION OF ANIMALS PURSUANT TO DOG LEGISLATION<br\/>DANGEROUS:<br\/>First- and second-category dogs are accepted in our<br\/>establishment on the express condition that they are muzzled and presented by<br\/>an adult.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ADMISSION OF STRAYED ANIMALS:<br\/>If the owner of the animal or animals presented to the Veterinary Care Establishment by<br\/>is not known, the veterinarian will comply with the<br\/>legislation in force.
