treatment of patients at risk of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agoravet.fr\/en\/our-services-2\/ophthalmology\/retinal-detachment\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"135\">retinal detachment<\/a>, known as preventive panretinopexy. In this case, the procedure is performed through the pupil, using a lens, and requires no surgical intervention. In this indication, it is a far less invasive alternative to keratectomy. Cryosurgery is also used to treat certain ocular tumors and in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agoravet.fr\/en\/our-services-2\/ophthalmology\/eyelid-surgery-in-dogs-and-cats\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"143\"> eyelid surgery.<\/a>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-default tw-block-animation tw-animation-scale-in\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">Cross-Linking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This extremely recent, non-invasive technique can be used to treat certain infectious keratitis and, in certain indications, is an alternative to medical or surgical treatment of certain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agoravet.fr\/en\/our-services-2\/ophthalmology\/corneal-ulcers\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"139\">ulcers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-default tw-block-animation tw-animation-scale-in\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\">Iontophoresis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Iontophor%C3%A8se\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Iontophor%C3%A8se\">Iontophoresis <\/a>uses weak currents to facilitate the penetration of therapeutic molecules into the cornea or eye. The result is high concentrations of the drug in contact with the structure to be treated.   <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group
