Congrès européen d’ophtalmologie vétérinaire – Madrid

L’équipe d’ophtalmologie d’Agoravet a participé au congrès européen d’ophtalmologie vétérinaire qui s’est tenu récemment à Madrid.

À cette occasion, une communication sur le glaucome, « Résultats visuels et évolution de la pression intraoculaire après l’implantation d’une valve de glaucome Ahmed chez le chien et le chat : étude de cohorte rétrospective », a été présentée par le Dr Thierry Azoulay. Ce travail a été réalisé en collaboration avec le Dr Claire SILVAIN et le Dr Nina Santini Lopes (Agoravet), le Dr Schill (Clinique Saint-Nicolas, Thionville) et le Dr Virginie Fouque (Clinique des Gabereaux, Châteauneuf-sur-Loire).

Le Dr Claire SILVAIN a également présenté un poster consacré à la luxation du cristallin.

Ces travaux illustrent l’intérêt de la collaboration entre équipes et le partage d’expériences cliniques, dans le but d’améliorer la prise en charge des affections oculaires chez les animaux.

📍 European Veterinary Ophthalmology Congress – Madrid

The ophthalmology team from Agoravet recently attended the European Veterinary Ophthalmology Congress held in Madrid.

On this occasion, a presentation on glaucoma entitled “Visual and Intraocular Pressure Outcomes After Ahmed Glaucoma Valve Implantation in Dogs and Cats: A Retrospective Cohort Study” was delivered by Dr. Thierry Azoulay. This work was carried out in collaboration with Dr. Claire Silvain and Dr. Nina Santini Lopes (Agoravet), Dr. Schill (Saint-Nicolas Veterinary Clinic, Thionville), and Dr. Virginie Fouque (Gabereaux Veterinary Clinic, Châteauneuf-sur-Loire).

Dr. Claire Silvain also presented a poster focusing on lens luxation.

These contributions highlight the value of collaboration between teams and the sharing of clinical experience, with the aim of improving the management of ocular diseases in animals.
