European Congress of Veterinary Ophthalmology – Madrid

Agoravet’s ophthalmology team attended the European Congress of Veterinary Ophthalmology, which was recently held in Madrid.

On this occasion, a presentation on glaucoma, titled “Visual Outcomes and Changes in Intraocular Pressure Following Implantation of an Ahmed Glaucoma Valve in Dogs and Cats: A Retrospective Cohort Study,” was given by Dr. Thierry Azoulay. This study was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Claire Silva and Dr. Nina Santini Lopes (Agoravet), Dr. Schill (Clinique Saint-Nicolas, Thionville), and Dr. Virginie Fouque (Clinique des Gabereaux, Châteauneuf-sur-Loire).

Dr. Claire SILVAIN also presented a poster on lens dislocation.

This research demonstrates the value of collaboration among teams and the sharing of clinical experiences, with the aim of improving the management of eye conditions in animals.

The ophthalmology team from Agoravet recently attended the European Veterinary Ophthalmology Congress held in Madrid.

On this occasion, Dr. Thierry Azoulay gave a presentation on glaucoma titled “Visual and Intraocular Pressure Outcomes After Ahmed Glaucoma Valve Implantation in Dogs and Cats: A Retrospective Cohort Study.” This study was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Claire Silvain and Dr. Nina Santini Lopes (Agoravet), Dr. Schill (Saint-Nicolas Veterinary Clinic, Thionville), and Dr. Virginie Fouque (Gabereaux Veterinary Clinic, Châteauneuf-sur-Loire).

Dr. Claire Silvain also presented a poster on lens luxation.

These contributions highlight the value of collaboration between teams and the sharing of clinical experience, with the aim of improving the management of eye diseases in animals.
