AgoraVet was born of a desire to be able to treat all our pets' ailments in the best possible conditions, using the latest techniques.
The project matured over three years. We exchanged ideas with numerous veterinarians and visited many state-of-the-art clinics in France, Germany, the UK and as far afield as the USA. These encounters were a source of inspiration for our project and helped us to design the center in collaboration with our architects.
After two years of construction, AgoraVet was born and opened its doors in November 2022.
Just as the Greek Agora was the city's public square where all social activities took place, and where citizens gathered to discuss their various problems, we wanted to create a meeting place centered on the animal and made up of all the players in the world of veterinary care.
AgoraVet is 2000 m2 dedicated to the care of pets, local wildlife and zoo animals.
AgoraVet's cutting-edge equipment enables it to handle the most severe cases and provide the fastest, most effective diagnosis and treatment.
Finally, AgoraVet is a team of over 50 people with a wide range of complementary skills to provide a complete range of care.
Since November 2024, an emergency service with a dedicated team has been in operation, ensuring exceptional continuity of care for our hospitalized animals, and enabling all pet owners in Strasbourg and the surrounding area to find emergency care for their pets at night, at weekends and on public holidays.

AgoraVet's ambition is to provide excellent care for your pets, listening to their needs, respecting and caring for them as if they were people.
We work with a large number of veterinarians in Eastern France and throughout France to ensure a complete chain of care centered on the animal.
We operate in a special way, because we only see your animals on the recommendation of your regular veterinarian. This is the referral principle.
