How it works

They confirm the correct indication for imaging examinations, clarify their limitations and explain the risks associated with certain procedures.

These consultations are carried out at the request of the attending veterinarian and are usually part of a more general medical, ophthalmological, surgical or NAC consultation.

Imaging examinations are carried out at the direct request of your attending veterinarian, or as part of a comprehensive patient management program at your veterinarian's request.

It is recommended that animals undergoing imaging be fasted, as sedation or general anaesthesia may be required.

Imaging examinations performed under general anesthesia (MRI, CT scans, fluoroscopies, certain X-rays) require at least one day of hospitalization for your pet.

CT and MRI scan reports are delivered within 24 to 72 hours in most cases. Depending on the complexity of the case, longer turnaround times are possible.
