Operating principle
The AgoraVet veterinary clinic in Strasbourg operates on a referral basis. It is your veterinarian who refers you to us for specific care or examinations requiring equipment he or she does not have.
We intervene at his request and according to his instructions. He then coordinates all the information and care provided, and most of the time takes care of the follow-up.
As a result, no treatment will be possible outside this framework.

Admission procedure
In order to ensure that your pet is taken care of, it is imperative that the request be made by your attending veterinarian in the following form:
- Liaison form: we have set up a 'liaison form' that your veterinarian can fill in directly on this site. It enables you to respond to your veterinarian's requests for care, find out about your pet's medical history and retrieve the results of examinations already carried out.
- An e-mail addressed to us or a letter of recommendation written by him.
- A phone call from your vet or his team.
Information sharing
When your pet's treatment at the Agoravet center is complete, a treatment report and the results of any examinations carried out are sent to your veterinarian.
Coverage limits
Except in the case of a life-threatening emergency, we will only treat your pet if your veterinarian requests it. The Agoravet center does not provide preventive medicine consultations (vaccination, nutrition, etc.), and will not be able to see you in this context.
