Digital radiography
Digital radiography represents a major advance in veterinary medical imaging. Thanks to our planar sensor equipment, we can offer fast, accurate and safe diagnoses for your companions, whether dogs, cats or NACs.
What is Digital Radiography?
Digital radiography is an imaging technique that uses electronic detectors to transform X-rays into high-quality digital images. Unlike conventional X-rays, this method enables instant acquisition and immediate visualization of images, facilitating rapid interpretation by our specialists. X-ray emissions are reduced, which is safer for our patients and healthcare teams.
Our Technology: The Planar Sensor
Our planar sensor is at the heart of this innovation. It offers several advantages:
- Superior image quality: thanks to high resolution, every detail is captured, enabling precise identification of pathologies.
- Reduced radiation dose: Digital technology requires less exposure, guaranteeing greater safety for both animal and caregiver.
- Rapid acquisition: Almost instantaneous image acquisition enables urgent management in critical situations.
- Easy to analyze and share: digital images can be easily stored, consulted and forwarded to experts or specialists for a second opinion, if required.
Clinical Applications
On a daily basis, we produce a large number of digital X-rays, which enable us to effectively investigate various health problems, including :
- Trauma and fractures: For accurate diagnosis and rapid assessment of injuries.
- Pulmonary and cardiac pathologies: to identify thoracic abnormalities.
- Digestive anomalies: To detect obstructions or other malfunctions.
- Post-operative follow-up: Ensuring optimal monitoring of recovery after surgery.
- Screening for osteoarticular disorders: elbow dysplasia, hip dysplasia, dislocation of patellas, etc.
