Service

The cardiology department is attached to the internal medicine department and works in collaboration with the surgery and imaging departments.
The AgoraVet clinic's state-of-the-art equipment makes it possible to explore all types of heart disease and implement the most appropriate medical and surgical treatments.
Priority given to your animals' quality of life, thanks to reasonable treatments and personalized care.

Cardiology consultations are by appointment only, Monday to Friday.

Under certain conditions, cardiac ultrasound can be performed directly at the attending veterinarian's (roaming service).

determine your pet's medical history and any current treatments
Specify the signs of the disease observed by the owners
Perform a precise clinical examination and auscultation
Determine the need for certain tests, such as echocardiography, ECG, blood pressure measurement, or even a 24-hour Holter ECG.
Implement appropriate treatment and medical follow-up.

Coverage is provided only at the request of the attending veterinarian.

Cardiac consultations and ultrasound scans can be carried out by your attending veterinary surgeon under certain conditions

A report and treatment recommendations are systematically sent to your veterinarian.

In case :
- syncope, loss of consciousness,
- abnormal fatigue on exertion
- coughing or respiratory distress (cardiogenic pulmonary edema)
- heart murmur detected by your veterinarian
To detect heart disease in certain breeds such as the Cavalier King Charles
