Ophthalmology
AgoraVision, Agoravet’s Ophthalmology Department, is headed by Dr Thierry Azoulay, one of the 23 veterinarians specializing in ophthalmology in France. The team is made up of Dr. Silvain, who holds a post-graduate certificate in Ophthalmology, and three experienced veterinary assistants fully dedicated to caring for the eyes of dogs, cats, horses and new pets.
- Agoravision offers all the services available in veterinary ophthalmology, and works in close collaboration with your attending veterinarian as well as with all Agoravet’s other departments (imaging, internal medicine, NAC).
- We provide our patients with state-of-the-art techniques and equipment, equivalent to that available for humans, and constantly updated in line with medical advances. Our team, totally dedicated to your pet, aims to provide the best care and achieve the best results.

Surgery
Because a surgical operation cannot be improvised and must meet high standards, we have put in place the following resources:
- A state-of-the-art technical platform enabling all types of surgery to be performed, using the latest techniques.
- Specific equipment such as laparoscopy, arthroscopy and fluoroscopy enable minimally invasive surgery.
- A dedicated team of 3 surgeons and 4 nurses entirely devoted to surgical practice
- 5 different surgical suites, equipped and adapted to each surgical discipline
- Because pain is unacceptable, all our teams are aware of and trained in pain assessment, prevention and treatment.
- Support from our emergency and intensive care teams to ensure continuous care for your pets, day and night.

Orthopedics
Your pet has difficulty getting up, has a limp or has suffered an accident: an orthopedic consultation is necessary.
- Orthopedics is the discipline that treats disorders or deformities of the musculoskeletal system, whether skeletal, tendinous, muscular, articular or nervous.
- Indoor and outdoor examination areas are dedicated to orthopedic consultations for your animals, enabling them to be assessed in a variety of conditions
- Close collaboration with the emergency and intensive care services ensures continuous care for your animals after an accident or orthopedic surgery.
- Because pain is unacceptable, all our teams are trained in the assessment, treatment and monitoring of pain conditions.
- A surgical suite is entirely dedicated to orthopedic surgery. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for all types of orthopedic reconstructive surgery.

Dermatology
- Hair loss, itching, diseased ears, redness or other skin abnormalities are all signs that should lead to a dermatological consultation for your pet.
- Collaboration with the clinic’s other departments (surgery, medical imaging, internal medicine and oncology) ensures comprehensive care for patients with skin diseases.
- Consultations are by appointment only, on Fridays from 9am to 4pm.

Oncology
The Agoravet clinic treats all types of tumors and cancer in your animals.
- We perform all types of extension assessments using state-of-the-art imaging equipment: scanners, MRI, ultrasound.
- The surgery department provides expertise in oncology surgery, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
- We offer a wide range of treatment solutions:
- traditional or metronomic chemotherapy, electrochemotherapy, photobiomodulation, etc.
- We offer support and palliative care solutions for animals at the end of their lives.

Neurology
Our pets suffer from a wide range of neurological disorders that require rapid treatment.
- Emergency management of severe cases: convulsions, paralysis, head tilts
- The Neurology Department works closely with the Internal Medicine, Imaging and Surgery Departments to provide the most accurate diagnosis and the most rapid treatment.
- The Agoravet clinic is equipped with a high-field MRI for the most precise exploration of the brain and spinal cord.
- The surgical department can intervene in cases of herniated discs, skull deformities, vertebral fractures, vertebral instability or brain tumors.

Algology

Animals feel and express pain just as we do. Like us, they only cry or moan when they are in great pain.
- The Agoravet clinic is part of the Cap Douleur network, demonstrating its commitment to the treatment of animal suffering.
- The latest pain treatments are performed at the Agoravet clinic: local and locoregional anesthesia, continuous infusion of analgesics, laser treatments, stem cell or PRP infiltration, etc.
- Pain management is an absolute priority for us when surgery is planned.

NAC
Just like their diversity, NAC medicine has many specific features. The NAC consultation consists of a complete assessment of your pet’s pathology, environment and diet, in order to prevent recurrences.

Anaesthesia
- The Agoravet clinic boasts the very best anesthesia equipment. Each anaesthetized animal benefits from full monitoring: ECG, capnography, O2 saturation, blood pressure, temperature.
- Each animal undergoes an individual assessment and benefits from a personalized protocol depending on its condition and the nature of the operation or examinations it is to undergo.
- All nursing staff are trained in anesthesia and resuscitation.
- Animals in critical condition are cared for in the intensive care unit, where they are continuously monitored.
The service
Imaging
The Clinique Agoravet is one of the few clinics in France to be equipped with a high-field MRI, enabling it to carry out very high-level imaging examinations.
- The imaging department plays a central role, collaborating with all the other departments: surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, NAC.
- We perform all types of imaging examinations: X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans and MRIs, with each examination tailored to the patient’s needs.
- Some imaging tests require anesthesia to avoid stress and animal movement.
The service
Cardiology
Heart disease is common in our pets and can reduce life expectancy and quality of life.
- We perform all types of cardiac examinations: electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, X-rays, Holters, etc.
- The cardiology department works in close collaboration with the surgery department for the treatment of patent ductus arteriosus, pericardectomies and the treatment of certain cardiac tumors.
- We collaborate with the Newstheart cardiac surgery department to correct cardiac anomalies using a minimally invasive technique under fluoroscopy.
