Eyelid surgery in dogs and cats
Eyelid disorders are common in dogs and cats, and can lead to pain, corneal ulcers and even impaired vision.
At AgoraVet, we provide comprehensive care for palpebral disorders, adapting treatments to the severity of the pathology and the needs of each patient.
The main procedures performed at the clinic :
- Surgical correction of entropion and ectropion, by adjusting the position of the eyelids to avoid rubbing and irritation.
- Removal of palpebral tumors, with aesthetic and functional reconstruction of the eyelid to preserve eye comfort and protection.
- Treatment of abnormal eyelashes, such as distichiasis and ectopic eyelashes
- Reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, in cases of loss of substance or major malformation, to restore the functionality and natural appearance of the eyelids.
